Food Waste: What to do?



Dear parents, my name is Laura Paredes and want to make a proposal to reduce food waste.
Food waste is one of the most dangerous types of pollution and everyday happens in many homes.
even in the same supermarkets, packages and cans with expiration dates are wasted, which represents a great loss both for the store and for people suffering from malnutrition.
I think if we did not throw out so much food we could feed a lot of people undernourished of the world.
I propose to donate some food to someone who needs it. It can be a neighbor, a relative or a food bank.
Instead of throwing food in the trash, a good option is to make fertilizer with them. In this way, they will become a fertilizer rich in nutrients instead of finishing rotting in the trash.
